Reviews for Holday Inn Cardiff City

Amazing hotel!
Room was very accessible. Celiling track hoist over bed and a ceiling track hoist in bathroom but these were separate tracks, they did not join from room to room but this wasn’t a problem. Very large bathroom which was brilliant. No commode or shower chair provided however and no separate shower, only a bath tub with a shower over. Hoist went over bath tub so I could be hoisted in there but for people with limited core strength who struggle to sit in a bath without an aid this might be difficult. No changing bench either. A sling was provided but I think it’s always best to take your own anyway!

Lovely hotel and helpful staff. Only other issue was the room wasn’t on the ground floor, there were two lifts but both were very small. I managed to just about get my average sized manual chair in but for people with bigger powered chairs this could pose a bit of an issue. There may have been other lifts that I didn’t see so might be worth contacting the hotel before hand.

Cardiff is very accessible, a great city, very flat and disabled friendly. There is a changing places toilet in the shopping centre also which was good!
